Compulsory for foreign workers to have health insurance in Malaysia

The news:

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai recently announced that health insurance for foreign workers would be made compulsory from Jan 1 as it was costing the government RM18 million a year to treat foreign workers at government hospitals and that the cost was ever increasing.

The annual premium has been set at RM120 per foreign worker.
 
My comments:
1. Is RM120 per worker enough?
2. Locals then have to compete with the foreign workers for hospital beds... They took our jobs and now the facilities at the hospitals. WAKE UP Malaysian ...!! The country NEEDS you!!!!

Insurans itu haram kerana ada unsur2:

1. RIBA - Unsur riba wujud kerana premium yang dicarum tidak sama dgn wang pampasan yang diterima. Dan tempoh pertukaran nilai wang itu juga tidak sama.

2. AL MAISIR - Unsur perjudian yang memungkinkan salah satu pihak akan menanggung kerugian. Contoh, kerugian yang ditanggung oleh syarikat insurans kerana nilai pampasan melebihi nilai caruman dan sebaliknya.

3. AL-GHARAR - Unsur ketidakpastian yang mana, tiada pihak yang pasti siapa akan mendapat imbuhan dari kontrak insurans tersebut. Samada pihak syarikat insurans atau insured itu sendiri kerana kebarangkalian untuk sesuatu kerugian itu tidak dapat dipastikan sewaktu awal kontrak. Dan jika terjadi kerugian, tidak pasti adakah nilai kerugian itu setara dengan premium yang diterima oleh syarikat insurans.

A Public Liability claim is a chance for recovery on the injuries and other damages against the golf course.

The news:
She jogged outside the golf course in Muar, Johor, with hubby and was hit by a bounced golf-ball coming from the course. It was reported that there was no proper fencing to protect the joggers which the joggers' path was built near to the course.
